Terms of Use
Effective 3 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Lecopter Inc, a Delaware corporation (“we”, “us”), which operates Dimmi. By creating an account or using Dimmi you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Dimmi.
Who can use Dimmi
You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for your account and for what happens under it. One person per account.
What Dimmi is
Dimmi hosts live voice rooms where people practise speaking a language. Each room is run by an AI host that hands out the microphone, starts conversations and responds to what people say. The host is an automated system: it can misunderstand, mishear or be wrong, including about grammar and vocabulary. Dimmi is a place to practise, not a certified course, and we make no promise about how quickly you will learn.
How to behave in rooms
Rooms are for people trying something difficult in front of others. Keep them a safe place to make mistakes. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, mock, insult or discriminate against anyone;
- say or share anything sexual, hateful, violent, illegal or that exploits minors;
- record other people or share what they said outside Dimmi without their permission;
- impersonate anyone, or use Dimmi to advertise, spam or recruit;
- disrupt rooms, interfere with the host or the service, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours;
- copy, reverse engineer or scrape the app.
The host and we may mute you, remove you from a room, or suspend or close your account if you break these rules or put others at risk. To report someone, write to soghaatol@gmail.com.
Speaking time and payments
Speaking in rooms uses speaking time, which you buy in minutes. Time is counted while your microphone is on in a room. Listening is free. Prices are shown before you pay, and payments are processed by Stripe.
Speaking time is a licence to use Dimmi, not money: it has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and is not refundable except where the law requires or where we decide to refund it. If something goes wrong with a purchase or your time was used up by a fault on our side, write to us and we will put it right.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you agree that the service starts as soon as you use the time you buy, and you understand that you lose your right to withdraw once it has been used.
Your content
What you say in rooms and the photo you upload stay yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to transmit, transcribe, store and use them to run and improve Dimmi, including the AI host, as described in the Privacy Policy. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.
Our service
Dimmi, its design, the host and its software belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. We may change, pause or stop features. Live audio depends on your connection and on providers outside our control, so we cannot promise that Dimmi will always be available or work without interruption.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the app. Unused speaking time is lost when you delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers
Dimmi is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Other people in rooms are not our employees and we are not responsible for what they say.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to Dimmi is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring them in your local courts.
Apple
If you downloaded Dimmi from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Dimmi or its support, has no obligation to maintain it, and is not liable for claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement where it applies.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you in the app if the change is significant. If you keep using Dimmi after that, you accept the new terms.
